We are seeking an Inventory Control Analyst to join our Facilities team! To be successful in this role one must take initiative to complete tasks, have excellent time management skills and have proficiency in data analytics to eliminate inventory issues. The purpose of this position is to ensure parts, equipment, and/or production inventory are accurate, inventory movements are keyed correctly and timely, and systematic records are maintained appropriately.
Responsibilities include:
+ managing inventory across all storage locations in a division, including scheduling, coordinating, and performing inventory counts for van locations, warehouses, and divisions
+ reporting and analysis for warehouse or production operations, including running inventory reports to identify issues
+ performing data analysis to ensure accurate material availability for technicians and stores
+ collaborating with supervisor to determine best placement for inventoried items and reminding warehouse/production associates of proper inventory receiving, putaway, picking, packaging, and shipping techniques for optimal business operations

Additional Required Qualifications:
+ Associate’s degree in Business, Accounting or Computer Science, or other analytical discipline or equivalent experience
+ 2 years of experience in warehousing or facilities/production operations or performing analytics in a related field
+ Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
+ experience with SAP or equivalent ERP software

Year End Bonus:
To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week’s pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks’ pay.
