Overview
We are seeking a strategic, dynamic and results-driven Director of Marketing to join Bobbi Brown’s high-performing 360 marketing team in North America. This Director role is critical in shaping and executing regional marketing strategies that drive brand growth, increase market share, and elevate our positioning across key retail and e-commerce channels. You will work across creative, digital, retail, influencer, and experiential channels to ensure an elevated and impactful brand experience that drives consumer engagement. The ideal candidate is a brand builder with regional expertise, consumer obsession, and a proven ability to deliver results in a complex, omni-channel environment. Another key goal of this role will be to support and develop the 3 direct reports- two managers and an assistant manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
360° Marketing Campaign Development & Execution:
+ Drive the development, execution, and optimization of integrated 360° marketing campaigns that include digital, retail, experiential, social, influencer, and PR strategies
+ Collaborate with creative, digital, PR, influencer, and media leads to ensure activations and messaging are aligned with brand vision, product positioning, and consumer insights
+ Spearhead brainstorming and strategy sessions with cross-functional teams, ensuring all aspects of the campaign are executed flawlessly and on time
Category Management:
+ With Executive Director, help to develop category and hero product seasonal Merchandise Financial Plan and three-year long range plan for portfolio strategy
+ Support managers in forecasting for New Product Launches and define key hero and NPL priorities
+ Partner with managers to manage NPLs end to end from forecast to tracking and launch with Sales Ops, GBSC, Customer Service and key cross functional teams, ensuring excellence in execution with tight alignment of forecasts and demand based on latest calendars and retail initiatives
+ Maintain close pulse on industry, circulating monthly NPD updates, and integrating market intel across workstreams in addition to financial planning.
Brand & Consumer Experience:
+ Ensure that every touchpoint of the consumer journey reflects the brand's identity and your Category strategy and key messaging, from the digital experience to Visual Merchandising to in-store and consumer activations
+ Use consumer insights and data to refine strategies and ensure campaigns are driving customer acquisition, retention, and brand loyalty
+ Monitor consumer sentiment and competitor activity to continuously optimize the brand's position in the marketplace
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership
+ Help support and develop direct reports (two managers and an assistant manager) on the team
+ Work closely with Media, influencer, and PR teammates to develop and support execution of tentpole brand experiences and consumer activations that align with Category strategy, conceptual national campaigns and key objectives
+ Collaborate in brainstorming and strategy sessions with cross-functional teams, ensuring all aspects of the campaign are executed flawlessly and on time
Media, Influencer & Partnerships Strategy:
+ Support managers’ development of media brief and create full funnel media plans in partnership with media team
+ Collaborate with the influencer marketing lead to help create impactful earned content
+ Own the messaging hierarchy and asset priorities / gaps for the category, working closely with Global and cross functional NA teams to adapt content and assets for North America relevance
Analytics & Reporting:
+ For New Product Launches, lead the managers in forecasting excellence. Define key hero and NPL priorities. Issue launch recaps and GTM toolkit development. Ensure innovation sufficiency in both shipment and retail dollars. Work cross-functionally to close gaps.
+ Lead bi-annual pricing analysis including competitive benchmarking and propose seasonal price plan for North America in collaboration with manager and strategic pricing.
+ Monitor and evaluate the performance of all marketing initiatives and 360 campaign performance, including tracking KPIs such as awareness, engagement, consumer counts, retail sales, market share and Circana deep dives
+ With Executive Director, own category level metrics such as pricing evolution, SKU ranking, SKU count, discos and ensure dissemination to key cross functional teams
+ Use data and performance analytics to guide the creation of future 360 marketing strategies, ensuring campaigns are continuously optimized
Qualifications
+ 10+ years of experience in integrated marketing, preferably in the beauty or consumer goods industries
+ Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. MBA a plus
+ Proven track record of successfully leading 360° marketing campaigns across digital, social, experiential, and retail channels
+ Experience managing both digital and traditional marketing initiatives, with a strong understanding of the beauty consumer landscape
+ Strong experience in influencer marketing, brand partnerships, and consumer engagement strategies
Skills:
+ Expertise in full-funnel marketing, from awareness and engagement to conversion and loyalty
+ Strong leadership, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills
+ Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze campaign results and adjust strategies accordingly
+ Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly
+ Strong creative and strategic thinking abilities, with a passion for innovative brand storytelling
