The CIO will be a strategic business partner and technology leader, responsible for overseeing Cherry Bekaert’s IT infrastructure, data management, and transformative technology initiatives. This individual will lead modernization efforts, manage M&A integration, and ensure the effective use of automation and AI to enhance operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will bring a blend of strategic leadership and hands-on expertise, with experience in professional services, private equity-backed environments, and process-driven technology transformation. ( \#LI-DNI)

What you will do:

+ Lead IT, Data platforms, Cybersecurity, Enterprise Applications, Software Development, User Experience, AI, and Project Management capabilities.

+ In collaboration with business leaders, create strategies and vision for how technology, data, and AI innovation can grow enterprise value. Ideally a bold thinker. Support growth through acquisition integrations.

+ Collaborate especially closely with Head of Transformation to drive process improvement and business transformation – using automation and other techniques as necessary.

+ Build and effectively manage a high-performance team and vendor ecosystem.

+ Deliver a “Frustration Free Experience” for users of enterprise systems and processes. Protect the firm from risks to its systems and data in compliance with all applicable regulations.

+ Lead or co-lead planning and implementation of multiple large, complex systems, projects, and programs simultaneously and provide satisfactory status tracking to all stakeholders.

+ Be an effective steward of company resources and a constant eye on net value creation. Manage the IT budget effectively and efficiently.

What you bring to the role:

+ Prior enterprise class CTO experience is important, especially in firms of similar size and growth. PE experience a plus. Ideally with significant outsourcing experience.

+ Deep knowledge of accounting (ideally), professional services. or financial services. Ability to pick up and talk the language of the business immediately.

+ Strong AI orientation. Ideally, process improvement and automation background

+ Strong hands-on technology experience and expertise, ideally with a technical degree. Able to interact with technical staff and vendors with facility.

The salary range for this position is included below. Individual salaries within this range are determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education, knowledge, skills, and geographic location. Pay Range:

$247,800 - $454,200
