Job Description
JOB SUMMARYEnters data into the Division’s database systems, maintains records, and assists with database quality assurance tasks. Processes and monitors the quality and consistency of data. Provides information by assisting with methods of collecting and retrieving data.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSAssociates degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Business Administration or other closely related field, plus one (1) year of related experience in data or data processing; OR an equivalent combination of related education and experience.Due to the nature of this position, the successful applicant must pass a required pre-employment background check and subsequent mandatory background checks in accordance with current County Human Resources policy requirements.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSThe following duties and responsibilities are intended to be representative of the work performed by the incumbent(s) in this position and are not all-inclusive. Provides basic quality assurance functions to ensure data integrity. Provides training for the system users to ensure that the information is entered correctly. Assists the Quality Assurance Manager to provide help desk services for system users. Uses quality control to identify opportunities for trainings. Assists collecting data by identifying sources of information; and designing survey and collection methods for users. Enters data into Division database system. Generates reports for users from the database. Responds to Point of Business (OB)/help requests for data correction(s), and provides guidance to users.
