    Information Assurance Engineer / Security Engineer 1

     

    Location- Remote- candidates in the DMV

     

    Clearance- Public Trust

    This position supports **Infrastructure System Management (ISM)** functions across server, network, and cloud environments, with a focus on enterprise application support and security compliance. The engineer will contribute to SAP/HANA ERP administration, vulnerability management, and federal security control testing aligned with **OMB A-123** , **NIST SP 800-53** , and **FISCAM** standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Conduct vulnerability scans and generate risk mitigation reports

    + Maintain compliance records in CSAM or other RMF-approved systems

    + Present vulnerability status briefings to system owners and stakeholders

    + Support continuous monitoring and improvement of FPI’s security posture

    + Assist with ATO documentation and incident response activities

    + Participate in SAP/HANA application testing for OMB A-123 controls

    + Contribute to auditing and testing of security controls for financial systems

    Qualifications & Experience

    + Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field

    + Minimum 2 years of experience in information assurance or security operations

    + Familiarity with SAP/HANA environments and federal financial system controls preferred

    Required Certifications (one or more)

    + **CompTIA Security+**

    + **Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)**

    + **CISSP** (preferred for advancement)

    Position Details:

    + Pay Rate / Range: **$40-$45/hr**
