About the role
This position is responsible for driving Global Innovation for our Lysol Air portfolio. Lead the development and validation of key innovation initiatives in partnership with cross functional teams. Supports the development of long term strategic plans (3-5 year horizon) and global success model with category understanding and analysis.
Your responsibilities
In summary, you'll:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure delivery of innovation on time and to aligned specifications.
• Partner with the US and Canada in market teams to ensure proper commercialization of innovation.
Strategy
• Lead the development and validation of key innovation initiatives in partnership with cross functional teams.
• Supports the development of long term strategic plans (3-5 year horizon) and global success model with category understanding and analysis.
Innovation
• Align innovation priorities with the North America organization.
• Develop insight driven concepts for new products that deliver brand growth
• Set product, packaging, claim, and pricing strategy for air segment innovation
• Oversee innovation development including formulation and consumer validation to attain stage-gate approvals through to market innovation commitments.
• Ensure sustainability is embedded in all innovations, sufficient to deliver category targets.
• Support insights & analytics Validation - Recommend and execute all consumer research requirements (incl budgets) and action accordingly across multi markets (with I&A).
• Partner with US marketing and finance to develop P&Ls to ensure innovations have high incrementality and grow brand margin
Base Business Continuity
• Maintenance of base formulations and claims with respect to changing regulations or guidelines
The experience we're looking for
+ Marketing experience: must be able to demonstrate strong marketing skills developed within the FMCG environment
+ Good strategic thinking skills and ability to support the execution of brand strategy
+ Project management, commercial acumen, P&L management
+ Ability to leverage data and analytics to uncover trends and insights that guide strategic decisions
+ Innovation experience preferred: must be able to demonstrate strong skills in innovation development and delivery
+ Idea generation and validation
+ Project delivery
+ Cross-organisation leadership

US salary ranges
USD$141,000.00 - $211,000.00
US pay transparency
The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
