We are looking for a **Manager - Public Policy, Regulatory Affairs** to join our growing team. The Manager of Public Policy & Regulatory Affairs will support NorthPoint Development-s engagement with state and regional regulatory bodies to advance projects for its industrial and data center portfolio. This role involves analyzing complex regulatory proceedings, monitoring energy policy, and providing the analytical foundation for strategic engagement.     What You-ll Do

    + Actively monitor and analyze dockets before state Public Utility Commissions (PUCs) and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). Review testimony, discovery, and regulatory filings to identify impacts and opportunities for NorthPoint-s projects.

    + Research energy policies, large-load tariffs, renewable energy programs, and grid modernization initiatives. Prepare summaries, reports, and recommendations for internal stakeholders.

    + Provide analytical support for the negotiation of Electric Service Agreements (ESAs), interconnection agreements, and other critical utility contracts. This includes reviewing cost estimates, service terms, and tariff applicability.

    + Build and maintain professional relationships with regulatory agencies, utility companies, and industry associations.

    + Collaborate with sourcing and development teams to provide expert guidance on utility and energy-related matters during site selection, due diligence, marketing and project execution.

    Who You Are

    + Bachelor's degree in Economics, Public Policy, Engineering, Finance, or a related field. A Juris Doctor (JD) or a Master-s degree is a plus.

    + 3-5 years of experience working for a utility, a public utility commission, a large energy consumer, or a consulting firm specializing in energy regulation.

    + Strong understanding of regulatory framework and fundamentals of utility ratemaking and facility siting.

    + Familiarity with transmission planning and interconnection studies is highly desirable.

    + Exceptional quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear and actionable insights.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate complex regulatory and technical concepts to non-experts.

    + Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
