Program Overview & Role Location

Are you a motivated and talented individual seeking an opportunity to excel and grow into a dynamic leader? Look no further than the Acuity Inc. Internship Program!

The Acuity Inc. Internship Program offers a 10–12-week immersive experience (June – August, 40 hours/week) designed to cultivate high-potential candidates through hands-on projects and real-world experiences. Interns will align their strengths and interests with the strategic needs of the business. In addition to contributing to impactful projects and transformative processes, interns will have the chance to network with leaders across Acuity Inc.

We prefer interns with one or two semesters remaining in their degree program, as they will be eligible for our Leadership Program upon completing the internship. Our Leadership Program is a full-time, entry-level rotational program that allows recent graduates to explore various areas within a functional domain. These experiences enable young talent to expand their skill set, build their network within the company, and discover their passions early in their careers.

This intern works onsite in Atlanta, GA.

Primary Responsibilities Include

+ While specific projects and activities may vary, you can expect to:

+ Support identification, evaluation, and prioritization of growth opportunities and investments aligned with AYI's strategic goals, including building company profiles, financial review and analysis, and development of potential deal assessment presentations.

+ Support assessment of industries and competitive landscape for Acuity's businesses, helping to identify emerging trends and growth opportunities that ultimately inform strategic planning discussions.

+ Help execute internal corporate finance and strategic initiatives through cross-functional partnership, with frequent engagement with senior management.

+ Develop core corporate finance skills, including financial statement analysis, modeling, and company valuation.

+ Develop the ability to analyze, synthesize, and translate data into executive-ready presentation formats.

Qualifications

+ Pursuing a bachelor's degree.

+ Relevant internship or project experience.

+ A minimum GPA of 3.0.

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.

+ Proven problem-solving capabilities.

+ Strong time management and prioritization skills.

+ Experience leading teams or organizations.

+ Available to travel 1-20%.
