School-Based Behavior Technician for the 2025-2026 School Year

Contract Length: 2025–2026 School Year

Employment Type: Full Time - No

Position Summary:

The Behavior Technicianworks to facilitate educational and behavioral services with children andadults with special needs and collaborates with school professionals and otherbehavioral specialists to achieve learning and behavioral goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Provide 1:1 or small group support to students with behavioral and developmental needs.

+ Collect and record data on student behavior and skill acquisition.

+ Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student progress.

+ Support the development of communication, social, and self-help skills through structured and naturalistic teaching methods.

+ Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and professional standards.

+ Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.

Minimum Requirements

+ Classroom experience preferred

+ High School diploma or equivalent required

+ Two (2) years relevant experience preferred

+ One year relevant experience preferred

+ Associates degree in behavioral studies or related field preferred
