Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a MedicalAssistant responsible for performing duties under the direction of a physicianto assist in the examination and treatment of patients.

Minimum Requirements:

+ High School diploma or its equivalent

+ Good telephone communication skills

+ Knowledge of medical terminology

+ Knowledge of medical procedures

+ Knowledge of clerical functions

+ Current CPR card (if applicable)

+ Current PPD or Chest X-Ray (if applicable)

+ Current Health Certificate (if applicable)

+ Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program; certification preferred

+ Minimum of one-year relevant experience preferred.

+ Relevant certification/ license if applicable.

+ Must be at least 18 years of age

• Location: Tacoma, WA

• Start: 11/5

• Pay: $28/hr.

• Shift: M-F | 5x8’s | Day Shift

• Will be responsible for preparing exam rooms, equipment andsupplies for exams and procedures

• Take and document accurate vital signs, height, weight, and thepatients’ chief complaints to facilitate patient care

• Perform clerical and clinical duties as assigned, to assist withquality patient care, customer service and effective teamwork

• Accountable for provision of quality patient care, clericalsupport, staff duties and effective provider support to ensure excellentpatient care and customer service
