    Poliform SLC is a growing, design-driven cabinetry and furniture company based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Our local showroom showcases high-end, modern designs for kitchens, closets, and interiors. As our business continues to expand, we’re looking for a talented **Designer / Drafter** with a passion for precision, creativity, and craftsmanship to join our team.

     

    What You’ll Do

     

    In this role, you’ll collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors to create innovative cabinetry designs that bring residential spaces to life. You’ll combine technical skill with aesthetic vision to produce detailed plans and elevations while helping deliver the exceptional customer experience Poliform SLC is known for.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Create detailed custom cabinetry plans and elevations using AutoCAD or similar software.

    + Design kitchens, closets, bars, offices, fireplaces, and other built-in home features.

    + Interpret architectural drawings and deliver accurate quotes using proprietary estimating software.

    + Collaborate with the sales team to resolve design challenges and ensure seamless project completion.

    + Manage multiple projects simultaneously and communicate effectively with clients and team members.

    + Learn and adapt to new tools, systems, and design processes as the company continues to grow.

    What We’re Looking For:

    + 1–5 years of design experience, ideally in cabinetry, millwork, or kitchen/bath design.

    + Proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit (or similar drafting software).

    + Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.

    + Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings.

    + Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and contribute.

    + (Bonus) Knowledge of electrical and plumbing layouts.
