    We are looking for an Operations Manager who will lead a dynamic and growing fabrication operation, overseeing 100–150 employees in a high-volume, high-mix manufacturing environment.     What you will do:

    + Lead daily operations across multiple fabrication areas to ensure safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals are met.

    + Drive a culture of operational excellence by implementing and sustaining Lean manufacturing and 5S methodologies.

    + Develop and mentor supervisors and front-line leaders, fostering a high-performing and engaged workforce.

    + Manage key performance indicators (KPIs), including productivity, efficiency, quality, on-time delivery, and cost.

    + Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to eliminate waste, reduce variability, and increase throughput.

    + Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure smooth production flow and continuous improvement.

    + Oversee production scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation to meet customer demands.

    + Interpret and apply engineering drawings and blueprints to ensure fabrication accuracy and compliance.

    + Utilize data-driven decision-making through Excel-based analysis, KPI dashboards, and PowerPoint reporting.

    + Manage cost performance of the operation and support budgeting, forecasting, and capital project planning.

    + Lead or support special projects to enhance safety, productivity, and overall operational performance.

    What we are looking for:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

    + 7+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience; fabrication or welding environment preferred.

    + Demonstrated success leading large teams (100+ employees) in a high-mix, fast-paced manufacturing setting.

    + Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Continuous Improvement principles.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; capable of building reports and presenting operational metrics.

    + Skilled in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and blueprints.

    + Welding knowledge or background is a strong plus.

    + Proven ability to drive measurable improvements in performance, quality, and cost.

    + Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills with the ability to coach and inspire others.

    + Strong problem-solving and project management skills with a bias for action.
