CTG is seeking to fill a Frontend Developer position for our client in Utica, NY.

**Location:** Utica, NY (hybrid remote)

**Duration:** 12 months

Duties:

+ Design, develop, and maintain responsive web application interfaces using **React.js** and **Angular.js** frameworks.

+ Build and manage **reusable component libraries** for scalable development.

+ Translate **UI/UX designs and wireframes** into high-quality, maintainable code.

+ Optimize components for **performance and cross-browser compatibility** .

+ Collaborate with backend developers, product managers, designers, and QA engineers to ensure seamless integration and high-quality product delivery.

+ Develop **unit test cases** and perform thorough **unit testing** of code.

+ Maintain and improve performance of existing systems; **debug, enhance, and document** existing features.

+ Recommend and implement **process improvements** to enhance development efficiency.

+ Communicate effectively with team leads and business clients to confirm requirements and resolve issues.

+ Participate in continuous learning and professional development to stay current with frontend technologies and best practices.

Skills:

+ Strong proficiency in **React.js** and **Angular.js** , including core principles and workflows (e.g., Flux, Redux).

+ Experience integrating **third-party JavaScript libraries** (e.g., charting tools).

+ Solid understanding of **RESTful APIs** and **API integration** .

+ Knowledge of modern **frontend security practices** (JWT, OAuth).

+ Strong skills in **JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS** .

+ Experience with **mobile application development** .

+ Proficiency with **SQL Server 2019/2022** and RDBMS concepts.

+ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

+ Creative and innovative thinker with a strong **customer focus** .

+ Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

+ Experience using **source code management tools** .

+ Ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.

Experience:

+ Minimum **3+ years** of hands-on experience developing web applications using **React.js** and **Angular.js** .

Education:

+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in **Computer Science, Computer Engineering** , or a related field from an accredited institution.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
