CTG is looking for a Lab Assistant in Pleasanton, CA to help bring new products from the lab to small-scale production. You’ll work hands-on in manufacturing, blending, packaging, and lab testing while following strict SOPs.

**Rate:** $24.41 per hour

About the Role:

CTG is looking for a hands-on Pilot Plant Technician (Lab Assistant) to support pilot-scale production in Pleasanton, CA. In this role, you’ll help bring new products from the lab to small-scale production, working across manufacturing, blending, packaging, and lab testing — all while following strict SOPs.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Manufacture pilot-scale batches and maintain accurate batch documentation.

+ Weigh and blend ingredients precisely according to SOPs.

+ Assist with equipment setup, changeovers, and test runs for various packaging formats.

+ Work across production areas: weighing, blending, filling, packaging, and cleaning.

+ Perform lab tests independently and support team experiments as needed.

+ Keep equipment and production areas clean and organized.

Skills & Requirements:

+ Detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable to changing priorities.

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.

+ Proactive, reliable, and team-oriented.

+ Comfortable using Microsoft Office and collaborating across functions.

+ Able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs., stand/walk on concrete, and follow PPE guidelines.

+ Comfortable bending, stooping, squatting, and exposure to dust/fumes.

Experience & Education:

+ Pilot plant or production experience preferred; lab experience is a plus.

+ Bachelor’s Degree required; technical or scientific training preferred.

+ Excellent English communication skills and ability to interact professionally with a diverse team.

+ This role is strictly **W2 only** . No Corp-to-Corp or 1099 candidates will be considered.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $24.41 per hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
