Job Description
In the role, the Account Manager provides information, analyses, and consulting to Health Plan and Prime senior management. The Account Manager supports senior management and Health Plan Markets teams in communications, client-facing initiatives, including a focus on managing projects and issue management.
This role must establish and maintain relationships with designated client counterparts in the pharmacy department and other key client functions as determined by the Sr. Director/Director.
Responsibilities
+ Perform business analysis work for client-facing needs.
+ Knowledge of PBM functions such as but not limited to customer service, claims, benefits, prior authorizations, rebates, and networks.
+ Build business case for all client-facing initiatives, working with internal roles to create input to the business cases.
+ Support Sr. Director/Director and other key leaders in communication with clients.
+ Manages small scale projects on behalf of Prime and our Blue partners.
+ Partner with internal Prime teams and clients to identify scope, budget, timeline, and risks. Obtain commitment from internal Prime leaders and their teams on delivery dates.
+ Coordinate reporting requests from external clients.
+ Consult and support efforts for the Prime functional teams to deliver products and services and maximize process improvements.
+ Support in up-sell opportunities of new products and services, the adaptation of products and services for the market sector.
+ Accountable to supporting, implementation and management of Prime’s Health Plan Markets , enterprise-wide, and plan-level initiatives and projects.
+ Accountable for coordination of the implementation and set-up of new accounts or the addition of ancillary lines.
+ Structures the reporting and required analysis to measure client and market sector outcomes.
+ Facilitate regular meetings with Client and internal departments.
+ Well-developed organization, analytical, interpretative and time management skills, demonstrated oral and written communication skills
+ Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree in business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience; HS diploma or GED is required.
+ 2 years of Client Service/Account Management experience in the PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Management) or Healthcare space
Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship
Additional Qualifications
+ Demonstrated ability to develop effective selling messages, presentations, and proposals that drive sales
+ Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively facilitate meetings, resolve conflict, build consensus, establish rapport, collaborate, and influence effectively across departments, internally and externally, and at all levels within an organization
+ Ability to balance and prioritize compliance, business and other competing goals and risks, while still driving programs and initiatives to completion
+ Organization and prioritization skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to simultaneously lead multiple, complex projects and strategies, under pressure and strict timeframes
+ Ability to work effectively in a matrixed team environment
Preferred Qualifications
+ Healthcare or PBM industry experience
+ Prior pharmacy technician experience and/or CPhT certification

Potential pay for this position ranges from $59,000.00 - $94,000.00 based on experience and skills.
