Family Preservation Services Supervisor

The FRCPS Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Family Resource Connection and Preservation Services program. This role provides leadership, supervision, program development, quality assurance, and community coordination to ensure that families receive high-quality, responsive, and strength-based support. The Supervisor also ensures staff are effectively supported and that all programmatic and contractual requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities / Duties

Staff Supervision & Development

+ Supervise, train, support and evaluate program staff (family resource specialist).

+ Assign workloads, monitor performance, and ensure staffing meets program demands.

+ Facilitate regular team meetings, individual supervision, professional development opportunities.

+ Participate in hiring, onboarding, mentoring, and if needed, disciplinary processes.

+ **Community Engagement & Partnerships**

+ Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with external partners (schools, child welfare, health providers, community organizations) to support families.

+ Plan and coordinate outreach and engagement activities, workshops, family events, resource fairs.

+ Serve as agency representative in the community, promote awareness of services, and support referral networks.

_Qualifications:_

Master’s Degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or related field.

+ Minimum of 4–5 years of progressive experience in family support/case management/community services, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.

+ Experience working with families, children, community outreach, home visiting programs.

+ An equivalent combination of education and experience.

+ Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance.

+ Licensure and training as required by state such as CPR, First Aid, Behavioral Intervention Techniques, etc. .

+ A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach.
