    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking a Senior Manager of Energy Storage & Renewables that will oversee and guide the Energy Storage Electrical Team within the Renewables Division, focusing on operational excellence, strategic growth, and staff development. This leader is responsible for managing technical, operational, legal, and financial aspects of the team, ensuring alignment with company goals and fostering a culture of innovation and accountability. Key duties include developing and implementing team strategies, mentoring and growing future leaders, balancing workloads, and maintaining high standards for quality and client service. The role also involves collaborating with market and division leadership, supporting business development, and driving continuous improvement in service offerings and team performance.

     

    This is a high-impact leadership position ideal for someone passionate about renewable energy, team building, and delivering results in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, effective communicator, and inspiring mentor, ready to shape the future of energy storage within the division. Salary: $165,000-$215,000/yr.

    Skills and Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET/EAC-accredited program.

    • 8+ years of experience in engineering consulting

    • 5+ years of experience leading design teams

    • Experience working in an engineering consulting firm, EPCs, developers, or construction contractors in the renewable energy sector. • Professional Engineer License

    • Strong interpersonal skills for developing a team

    • Aptitude for business development within existing and new clients
