    Job Description

    A client of Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Consultant with deep expertise in Red Hat Migration Toolkit for Applications (MTA), Quarkus, and Java to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead modernization and migration initiatives, helping clients transition legacy applications to cloud-native architectures using Red Hat MTA and Quarkus. You will architect and implement scalable, performant Java solutions while guiding clients through best practices in application transformation. The ideal candidate will also bring strong secondary skills in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Ansible scripting, Kubernetes, and containerization technologies such as Podman or Docker. Your ability to work across development and operations teams, automate infrastructure, and deploy containerized applications in hybrid cloud environments will be key to success.

    Experience with Red Hat Migration Toolkit for Applications (MTA) and general app migration

     

    Experience with Red Hat Quarkus

     

    Advanced Java skills with 3-4+ years of experience Containerization and Kubernetes experience

     

    Experience with RHEL

     

    Experience with Ansible scripting
