Job Description
_This job is full time onsite at our Merrimack, NH location._
Maintains smooth operation of a variety of networks. Plans, evaluates, and coordinates installation and/or reconfiguration of hardware and software elements of data and/or voice communication network. Maintains technical expertise in all areas of networks and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing. Provides regular monitoring and network analysis regarding short- and long-range planning for in-house systems. Maintain detailed network documentation for local area and wireless networks. Manager life cycle and security compliance of network infrastructure.
The role requires someone with a deep understanding of route/switch hardware and layer 2 & 3 routing protocols.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
+ BS Degree with 6 years of experience OR 8 years IT Network Admin experience in lieu of degree
+ Must be able to commute daily to BAE SYSTEMS Merrimack, NH location
+ CCNA or equivalent years of experience supporting Cisco environments
+ The role requires someone with a deep understanding of route/switch hardware and layer 2 & 3 routing protocols.
+ Proficient in supporting Cisco Switching, Routing and Wireless environments
+ Proficient in Cisco Management tools including Cisco Catalyst Center and vManage.
+ Proficient using Cisco CLI
+ Good understanding of Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
+ Cisco CCNP Certification in switching and/or wireless networks
+ Excellent knowledge of Cisco CLI
+ Good understanding of ServiceNow
+ Demonstrated deep understanding of Cisco Catalyst Center and vManage
+ Good understanding of Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)
+ Ability to work independantly as well as in a team environment
+ Excellent communication skills and organizational skills
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $115779 - $196825
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
