    Lead Operations Specialist – Infrastructure

    Position Overview

    We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced **Lead Operations Specialist** to join our Infrastructure team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving process improvements, optimizing operations, and implementing innovative technology solutions to enhance efficiency, safety, and quality across our facilities and infrastructure functions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement, develop strategies, and execute initiatives that align with GE Aerospace’s commitment to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC).

    Key Responsibilities

    Process Improvement

    + Analyze current facilities and infrastructure processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.

    + Develop and implement lean methodologies to streamline workflows and eliminate waste.

    + Establish and maintain Standard Work documentation to ensure consistency and compliance.

    + Monitor and measure process performance, leveraging data to drive continuous improvement.

    Technology Integration

    + Identify and evaluate technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency and support process improvements.

    + Collaborate with IT and other stakeholders to implement digital tools, automation, and data analytics platforms.

    + Train team members on new technologies and ensure successful adoption across the Facilities/Infrastructure team.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration

    + Partner with engineering, supply chain, and other internal teams to align facilities and infrastructure processes with broader organizational goals.

    + Facilitate workshops and Kaizen events to engage stakeholders in problem-solving and process optimization.

    + Act as a liaison between the Facilities/Infrastructure team and external vendors or contractors to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.

    Project Management

    + Lead and manage process improvement projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and measurable results.

    + Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and track progress against key milestones.

    + Communicate project updates and outcomes to leadership and stakeholders.

    Compliance and Safety

    + Ensure all process improvements and technology implementations adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements.

    + Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the Facilities/Infrastructure team.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years (specific) experience + minimum of 3 years operations, process improvement, or facilities management

    experience **Preferred Qualifications**

    + **Experience** : Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in operations, process improvement, or facilities management, with a proven track record of driving successful initiatives.

    + **Technical Skills** :

    + Strong knowledge of lean methodologies and process improvement tools.

    + Familiarity with technology solutions such as Smartsheet, Maximo and Procore

    + Proficiency in project management tools and techniques.

    + **Soft Skills** :

    + Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

    + Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

    + Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.

    + Experience in facilities management or infrastructure operations within the aerospace or manufacturing industry.

    + Familiarity with GE Aerospace’s FLIGHT DECK operating system.
