Position Summary
Red Cat Holdings is looking to fill an immediate position for a full-time Financial Planning & Analysis Manager. The FP&A Manager plays a key leadership role in driving financial insight, strategic planning, and performance analysis across the organization. This position partners closely with senior leadership to provide forward-looking financial guidance, manage budgeting and forecasting cycles, and support data-driven decision-making.
The FP&A Manager is responsible for developing models, reports, and dashboards that explain business performance, highlight risks and opportunities, and support the company’s growth and profitability goals.
This role will be based in Salt Lake City, UT and the role will report directly to the VP of Finance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Forecasting
+ Build and Lead the annual budgeting process, including revenue, expense, capital, and cash flow planning.
+ Manage quarterly reforecasts and ensure assumptions reflect current business trends and market conditions.
+ Partner with department heads to develop bottom-up forecasts and identify cost-saving or growth opportunities.
+ Maintain long-range financial models to support strategic planning and investment decisions.
Financial Analysis & Reporting
+ Deliver monthly and quarterly management reports analyzing performance versus budget, forecast, and prior year.
+ Provide insightful variance analysis on revenue, margins, operating expenses, and cash flow.
+ Build and maintain KPI dashboards for executive leadership and department managers.
+ Develop and present Board and investor reporting packages, including key metrics, commentary, and trend analysis.
Process Improvement & Systems
+ Enhance the FP&A infrastructure by implementing standardized reporting, forecasting tools, and automation.
+ Partner with IT or ERP teams to optimize financial data integrity and system integration.
+ Identify and lead process improvement initiatives to streamline budgeting and forecasting cycles.
+ Evaluate and implement planning and analytics tools (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, Power BI, Tableau).
Required Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA/CMA preferred).
+ 7–10+ years of progressive finance experience, including 3+ years in FP&A or financial leadership.
+ Proven experience supporting executive leadership and influencing business strategy.
+ Strong understanding of financial modeling, variance analysis, and forecasting methodologies.
+ Experience with ERP and planning systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, Adaptive, Anaplan).
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
+ Must be able to walk, stand, and navigate large indoor and outdoor facilities for extended periods of time.
+ Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment weighing up to 25 lbs on a regular basis.
+ Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required in designated areas or when performing specific tasks, in accordance with safety protocols and company policy.
+ May be required to climb ladders, stoop, kneel, or crouch during inspections, maintenance walk-throughs, or emergency response situations.
+ Regular exposure to facility operations including noise, dust, temperature fluctuations, and industrial equipment.
+ Occasional off-hours or weekend work required for emergency facility responses or projects as needed
+ Requires frequent use of a computer and other standard office equipment for documentation, communication, and coordination tasks.

Compensation: Salary plus generous annual equity package and potential bonuses.
