Position Summary
Red Cat Holdings is looking to fill an immediate position for a full-time Senior Business Analyst. The Senior Business Analyst supports business process optimization, systems integration, and compliance initiatives within a government contracting environment. This role bridges Finance, Program Management, Contracts, and IT to ensure accurate cost allocation, pricing, and reporting in line with FAR, DFARS, CAS, and DCAA requirements.
The ideal candidate plays a key role in developing systems and processes that support cost-plus, T&M, and fixed-price contracts, ensuring compliance and transparency.
This role will be based in Salt Lake City, UT and the role will report directly to the VP of Finance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Business Analysis
+ Assists with implementation and support of business information systems across multiple departments to ensure systems and reporting align with FAR-compliant cost accounting structures.
+ Translate government contract requirements into system configurations, workflows, and reporting logic.
+ Document end-to-end processes for labor charging, indirect cost allocation, and revenue recognition for cost-plus contracts.
+ Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain accurate mappings of direct, indirect, and unallowable costs within ERP and reporting systems.
Solution Implementation
+ Partner with Finance and IT to design and implement ERP enhancements that support cost pools, burden rates, and indirect rate applications.
+ Participate in or lead UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure solution readiness.
+ Ensure business systems can produce DCAA-auditable data and support billing, funding, and revenue recognition for government contracts.
+ Support post-implementation activities including training, documentation, and reporting.
Data Analysis & Reporting
+ Use data to identify trends, root causes, and performance drivers across key business areas.
+ Develop KPIs and dashboards that provide insight into business performance and project impact.
Required Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Information Systems (Master’s or MBA preferred).
+ Minimum of 5+ years of experience in business analysis, process improvement and/or systems implementation.
+ Experience supporting government contracts in the defense/aerospace industries.
+ Strong understanding of cost-plus and T&M contract structures and FAR/CAS requirements.
+ Hands-on experience with ERP systems supporting government contracting.
+ Ability to communicate complex financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
+ Experience with DCAA-compliant timekeeping and invoicing systems.
Additional Desired Qualifications
+ Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities.
+ Experience with systems such as SAP, Paycom, Navan or similar systems.
+ Ability to thrive in ambiguity and adapt to changing business needs.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
+ Must be able to walk, stand, and navigate large indoor and outdoor facilities for extended periods of time.
+ Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment weighing up to 25 lbs on a regular basis.
+ Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required in designated areas or when performing specific tasks, in accordance with safety protocols and company policy.
+ May be required to climb ladders, stoop, kneel, or crouch during inspections, maintenance walk-throughs, or emergency response situations.
+ Regular exposure to facility operations including noise, dust, temperature fluctuations, and industrial equipment.
+ Occasional off-hours or weekend work required for emergency facility responses or projects as needed
+ Requires frequent use of a computer and other standard office equipment for documentation, communication, and coordination tasks.

Compensation: Salary plus generous annual equity package and potential bonuses.
