Job Overview
Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced **CNC Setup/Operator** for a respected manufacturing company in the **Dubuque area** . This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented machinist who takes pride in precision work and maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Set up and operate CNC equipment according to specifications
+ Make tool wear offsets to ensure parts remain within tolerance
+ Use precision inspection tools, plugs, and gauges to verify part quality
+ Operate a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) as needed
+ Change inserts and maintain tools in good working condition
+ Mix coolant and monitor machine performance
+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Qualifications:
+ Previous CNC setup and operation experience required
+ Strong understanding of quality inspection tools and measurement standards
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
+ Excellent attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
+ Dependable and self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills
Schedule & Pay:
+ **2nd Shift:** Monday–Friday, 3:15 PM – 11:15 PM
+ **Overtime:** 3:15 PM – 1:15 AM (paid lunch)
+ **Pay:** $24.34/hour
