**Location:** Dallas, TX | **Pay Rate:** $37.86/hour | **Schedule:** Full-Time: 2nd Shift (2:30pm- 1am)
Lead the Charge in Aerospace Innovation
As an Avionics Electrical Technician IV, you’ll bring advanced technical expertise, precision, and leadership to one of the most critical areas of modern aviation—electrical and avionics systems. Your work ensures that each aircraft operates flawlessly and safely, meeting the highest standards of performance and quality. In this senior-level role, you’ll not only perform complex testing and troubleshooting but also mentor others, driving excellence across the team and ensuring that aircraft leave the hangar ready for flight.
What You’ll Do
+ Perform advanced operational and functional tests, inspections, and repairs on aircraft avionics and electrical systems.
+ Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct discrepancies in complex avionics systems to ensure defect-free performance.
+ Install, repair, or replace wiring, connectors, and components using industry-approved techniques such as splicing, soldering, and pinning.
+ Conduct setup and operation of test equipment; evaluate system performance and reliability.
+ Provide leadership and technical guidance to other technicians—mentoring, training, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
+ Review and approve work performed by other technicians to reduce rework and inspection time.
+ Coordinate with other departments and disciplines to support cross-functional projects.
+ Document all work accurately in accordance with company, FAA, and quality compliance requirements.
+ Enforce company safety programs including FOD, tool control, and 5S.
+ Support process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, reduce cost, and maintain the highest levels of safety and quality.
+ Participate in aircraft testing and certification processes as required, including possible flight testing.
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications:
+ High School Diploma or GED.
+ Six (6) years of experience in an avionics or electrical career field **OR** two (2) years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics and four (4) years of related experience.
+ Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
+ Advanced knowledge of avionics and electrical system testing, troubleshooting, and repair procedures.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering documentation.
+ Proficiency with avionics test equipment, tools, and maintenance software.
+ Strong communication, leadership, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ A&P License.
+ FCC License or NCATT Certification.
+ Experience with additional aircraft systems such as hydraulics, landing gear, flight controls, or environmental controls.
+ APU or engine run qualification.
+ Prior experience in the aerospace manufacturing or maintenance industry.

**Pay Details:** $37.86 per hour
