PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a **Rework Support Operator** to join our partner, a recognized leader in **electronics manufacturing and engineering innovation** , based in **Alviso, California** .

    **Schedule:** Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

    **Pay:** $30–$35/hour

     

    About the Role

     

    As a **Rework Support Operator** , you’ll bring your technical expertise and attention to detail to perform troubleshooting, debugging, rework, wiring, and prototype builds in a collaborative R&D environment. Your work ensures every component meets exacting standards — helping bring complex designs to life.

    What You’ll Do

    + Perform **electrical troubleshooting, PCB rework, and precision soldering** (including fine-pitch 0402, 0201 components).

    + Assemble and disassemble **chassis and wiring systems** , and support prototype builds from concept to completion.

    + Conduct **network IP setups** , software upgrades, and functional testing.

    + Fabricate and modify **custom harness cables and test fixtures** .

    + Manage and maintain **lab inventory, tools, and spare parts** , coordinating with vendors for specialized components.

    + Perform **incoming inspections** and ensure proper functionality of electronic systems.

    + Operate oscilloscopes, test benches, and diagnostic tools to ensure accuracy and performance.

    + Document work clearly using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).

     

    What You’ll Bring

    Required:

    + Completion of an **Electronics Technology certificate program** or equivalent experience.

    + Minimum **2 years of experience** in electronic equipment repair, maintenance, or R&D support.

    + Strong skills in **PCB rework, soldering, and troubleshooting** .

    + Familiarity with **electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and testing procedures** .

    + Proficiency with **hand and power tools** for precision assembly and repair.

    + Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to multitask effectively.

    + Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform hands-on technical work.

    Preferred:

    + Experience with **BGA and 01005 component rework** .

    + Prior experience supporting **engineering or prototype development teams** .

    + Proficiency in using oscilloscopes and electronic diagnostic equipment.

    **Pay Details:** $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
