Your Opportunity
Stantec’s Texas studio is seeking a creative and driven Landscape Architect to join our Community Development Team—a collaborative group where landscape architecture and urban design come together to shape vibrant, resilient places.

Your Key Responsibilities
You'll work on a variety of projects—from parks and trails to campuses, recreation facilities, and mixed-use developments—collaborating with planners, engineers, and fellow landscape architects in a fast-paced, creative studio where ideas and teamwork drive great design.
Design & Documentation
- Develop concept designs and translate them into detailed construction documents
- Prepare layout, planting, irrigation, grading plans, and design details
- Create compelling graphics, renderings, and presentations
Collaboration & Engagement
- Work closely with planners, engineers, and fellow landscape architects
- Participate in client meetings, workshops, and proposal development
- Support construction administration and site visits
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Strong design sensibility and technical proficiency
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office; experience with Lumion, Rhino, V-Ray, or Grasshopper is a plus
- A collaborative mindset and a desire to grow within a supportive team
Education and Experience
- A degree in Landscape Architecture (BLA or MLA) from an accredited program
- 3+ years of professional experience
- Licensed in Texas or actively pursuing licensure within the next 2–3 years

**Pay Transparency:** In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
**Benefits Summary:** Regular full-time and part-time employees (working at least 20 hours per week) have access to medical, dental, and vision plans, a wellness program, health saving accounts, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) plan, employee stock purchase program, life and accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, short-term/long-term disability plans, emergency travel benefits, tuition reimbursement, professional membership fee coverage and paid family leave.
