About this position:
As a condition of employment, all applicants are required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Job Type: Full Time, Onsite
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM, with limited after hours and weekends as required, approximately 1 week per month of on-call duty (after hours)
Starting Wage: $69,500 - $92.200 per year
The Business Systems Analyst with ERP Help Desk Focus provides first-level technical support for all issues and requests related to the company’s ERP system. This role will troubleshoot and resolve common user problems, escalate complex issues to appropriate resources, and serve as the liaison between end-users and the IT Development Team. This position is critical for maintaining high system uptime, user productivity, and overall ERP system health.
Key Responsibilities for this role include:
+ ERP Help Desk Support: Serve as the first point of contact for ERP system issues, providing timely and accurate support via phone, email, or ticketing system.
+ Tier 1 & 2 Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve reported ERP requests and problems, such as user access issues, transactional errors, or system failures.
+ Issue Escalation and Management: Properly document, track, and escalate unresolved issues to Development Team or vendors.
+ Assurance Testing: Run through user scenarios to find bugs in new development.
+ User Training and Documentation: Create and maintain user guides, knowledge base articles, and training materials to improve user proficiency and reduce support inquiries.
+ Business Process Analysis: Analyze reported user issues to identify underlying process inefficiencies or training gaps. Document functional requirements for potential system improvements.
+ Reporting and Analysis: Assist in generating ad hoc reports and dashboards from the ERP system to support business needs and troubleshoot issues.
+ Continuous Improvement: Participate in projects to implement system upgrades, new modules, or enhancements based on user feedback and business requirements.
Required Skills and Experience
+ 2+ years experience supporting business processes relating to ERP modules, preferably Oracle, such as Finance, Supply Chain, or Operations.
+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with an acute attention to detail.
+ Motivated to dig into software applications to truly understand the functionality.
+ Experience or training in documenting business processes and user requirements.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
+ A strong customer service orientation and a patient demeanor.
Preferred Skills and Experience
+ Degree or specialized training in information technology systems.
+ Basic knowledge of SQL queries for data analysis and troubleshooting.
+ Experience with a ticketing system for tracking and resolving user requests.
