This position is eligible for hybrid telework. Employees living within 50 miles of the primary work location will be required to work in the office at least 50% of the time each month. Employees may reside outside the state of Minnesota if they live in a state bordering Minnesota and are within 50 miles of the primary work location. This position is responsible for supporting both internal and external customers by maintaining and providing access to information related to workers' compensation cases. As the unit data coordinator for CRT, responsibilities include educating co-workers and ensuring that the data privacy laws along with department policies and procedures are followed. As a team lead, this position is responsible for coordinating the daily workflow within Copy File Review including handling of complex work processes so that the integrity of all workers' compensation claim files is maintained.
Minimum Qualifications
+ Demonstrated lead work skills, including the ability to assign, guide and direct the work activities of the Copy File Review unit to meet established goals.
+ Customer service skills to answer questions, advise customers and explain rules, regulations, policies and procedures in a clear, concise, and professional manner to both internal and external customers.
+ Skill working with Microsoft Office applications such as Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, Word, etc.
+ Ability to ensure compliance and security in data management, including data requests, collection, retention, and destruction.
+ Skill in using spreadsheet applications, such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets to enter, compile, store, and retrieve data.
+ Database management sufficient to enter and retrieve data.
Preferred Qualifications
• Knowledge of Minnesota Workers' Compensation data privacy statute and laws..
• Knowledge of CAMPUS, Daedalus or Informix.
• Language skills other than English (such as Somali, Spanish, Hmong, Karen or ASL).
• Ability to communicate effectively with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, including those who may not share your same culture, ethnicity, language, or common experiences.
Physical Requirements
The ability to remove full file boxes from top shelf storage racks and transport from basement to Document Processing business unit. In addition, the ability to fill file boxes and install on top shelf storage as needed.
Additional Requirements
