The Perpich Center for Arts Education (PCAE) seeks a highly organized, professional, and detail oriented Executive Aide to provide executive-level administrative and operational support to the Executive Director, serve as** **Board** **Secretary to the Governing Board** **, and coordinate agency contracts.
This position is central to ensuring smooth, efficient, and transparent operations within a small but dynamic state agency that advances arts education across Minnesota. The Executive Aide manages** **complex contracts, calendars, and schedules** **;** **coordinates board and committee meetings; prepares and edits materials; and serves as a liaison among agency staff, the Governor’s Office, legislators, and community partners.

Minimum Qualifications
+ At least three (3) years of experience providing executive-level administrative or office management support in a professional setting.
+ Proven ability to manage calendars, schedule meetings, and maintain both digital and physical records.
+ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the the ability to interact professionally with diverse audiences, including senior leaders, board members, and state officials.
+ Strong organizational and project management skills - able to manage multiple priorities, track details, and meet deadlines.
+ Demonstrated discretion, professionalism, and sound judgement when handling confidential information.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
+ Experience providing administrative support to a governing board, commission, or executive leadership team.
+ Familiarity with Minnesota’s Open Meeting Law (Minn. Stat. 13D) and board meeting procedures.
+ Experience working within Minnesota state government systems, including SWIFT, contract processing, or grant administration.
+ Understanding of state policies, procedures, and procurement processes.
+ Commitment to public service and enthusiasm for advancing arts and education across Minnesota.
