Location Description
Hopkins, MN is home to our Michael Foods, Inc. corporate headquarters. Hopkins is located 7 miles west of Minneapolis, boasting natural surroundings in a suburban environment that also provides quick access to major travel ways and local restaurants that give our community a distinct character. Located in the Excelsior Crossing building where employees are provided with beautifully landscaped walking paths and water features creating an optimal environment for outdoor and walking meetings, along with the opportunity to take a relaxing walk or outdoor lunch before, within, or after your work day.
Responsibilities
POSITION SUMMARY** **:
The primary focus of this position is executing the Michael Foods Foodservice Value Proposition and commercial vison statement. This position is responsible for driving sales execution, achieving profitable growth with our Distribution Partners, Key Operators and performing desired market objectives with our Sales Agencies.
Territory: Wisconsin, Illinois, and Indiana
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Execution and delivery of volume and EBITDA sales plan.
+ Secure new business and/or incremental volume among distribution.
+ Responsible for executing distributor training of Michael Foods products, initiatives, and objectives.
+ Execute Go-to-Market initiatives on a collaborative basis with Client Management in a Sales
+ Maximize MFI activity through Sales Agency Management and Training.
+ Educate and drive Sales Agency performance on MFI corporate selling platforms and all other mandated priorities.
+ Manage all sales responsibilities for geographically assigned LLO’s and multi-unit accounts.
+ Implement company determined pricing programs.
+ Perform, monitor, and achieve general management market duties defined as the following: Monthly reporting, RFP requests, quarterly operator programing, Sales Agency expense administration, Sales Agency reviews and other time sensitive requests.
+ Drive category growth and market penetration through field execution of corporate and local distribution agreements. Management of Distribution responsibilities in assigned geography.
+ Travel requirement – up to 60%.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPEREINCE REQUIRED:
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.
+ 5-7 years Sales Agency management and general business management and/or experience.
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
+ Ability to interface with and manage the Sales Agency’s Enterprise Management role: includes driving accountability, delegation, speed to market, communications and managing performance to goal attainment.
+ Strong business finance skills and decision-making ability.
+ Proficient skills in Microsoft Office, Sales Discovery, Agency CRM Tool and Technomic Digital Resource.
+ Highly motivated individual able to work in fast-paced environment.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Ability to prioritize, anticipates situations, and takes appropriate action.
The pay range for this position is $99,119 - $154,626 per year.
