Responsibilities
Accountabilities:
1. Safety 1 st .
2. Follow all workplace safety rules.
3. Inspects facility equipment daily performing various production startup and coverage tasks.
4. Maintains various plant machines by performing troubleshooting and general maintenance.
5. Trouble-shoots any repair-electrical, mechanical, pneumatic or hydraulic components.
6. Uses electrical schematics, and follows verbal instructions to make repairs to ordinary plumbing and electrical systems. Installs and threads pipe, performs soldering and cutting.
7. Assists in the installation of equipment.
8. Cleans and lubricates parts, equipment, and machinery.
9. Follow all SQF principles pertinent to your position as specified by the SQF Practitioner.
10. All food safety and human safety concerns need to be reported to appropriate personnel such as QA technician, Safety Manager, FSQ Manager, etc.
11. Keeps assigned maintenance and storage areas organized and clean .
12. Communicate problems or issues to Maintenance leadership to quickly address any concerns about employee or product safety.
Qualifications
Experience and Education:
Education Level:
+ High School diploma or GED
Experience:
+ A minimum of two years of experience working on industrial food manufacturing equipment is required

+ While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to cold, wet or humid conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and the noise level can be loud.
+ May lift 50 lbs. to 100 lbs. regularly
+ Requires walking, standing, bending and lifting for long periods of time
+ Vision abilities required to read schematics, equipment instructions and to enter data on computer
