Position Summary...
As Senior Manager, Financial Benefits & Wellbeing, you will lead the strategy, design, and execution of Walmart’s financial benefit and wellbeing programs. You will oversee the administration of complex financial benefit plans while advancing enterprise-wide financial wellbeing initiatives that support our associates in building financial confidence and long-term stability.
This role requires a balance of strategic thinking, operational oversight, and cross-functional collaboration. You will partner with teams across Total Rewards, Associate Experience, Communications, Finance, Legal, and Technology to deliver programs that enhance the financial wellbeing of associates at every level of the company.

What you'll do...
+ Lead the strategy, governance, and ongoing management of Walmart’s financial benefit programs.
+ Design and implement financial wellbeing programs and tools that support associate financial education, savings, and goal achievement across the enterprise.
+ Partner with senior leadership and external providers to evaluate plan design, program performance, and cost-effectiveness, ensuring programs align with business goals and associate needs.
+ Manage vendor relationships, ensuring service delivery, compliance, and continuous improvement.
+ Monitor regulatory and legislative changes affecting financial benefits; oversee compliance activities and maintain proper documentation and controls.
+ Use data and analytics to measure participation, engagement, and outcomes; identify opportunities to improve program effectiveness and associate experience.
+ Lead cross-functional projects that integrate financial wellbeing into broader total rewards and associate wellbeing strategies.
+ Provide direction, guidance, and development opportunities to team members; promote collaboration and operational excellence.
+ Serve as a subject matter expert to senior leadership, offering recommendations that support decision-making and enterprise wellbeing priorities.
What you’ll bring...
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources, or related field.
+ Progressive experience in benefits, financial program management, or total rewards.
+ Experience leading enterprise-wide wellbeing or financial education initiatives.
+ Deep understanding of financial benefit programs including stock purchase, deferred compensation and/or other programs.
+ Proven ability to lead complex projects, manage vendors, and influence across functions.
+ Strong analytical skills and familiarity with financial and benefits systems.
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex topics into actionable insights for diverse audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) or professional certification (CEBS, CFP, or similar).
+ Experience in large, matrixed organizations or global enterprises.
+ Knowledge of data analytics tools and emerging HR technologies supporting financial wellbeing.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
