The Global Extranet Delivery Team are responsible for Planning and Delivery of Extranet Solutions for Supplier, Joint Venture and Public access to Ford, that meet the Business needs in a cost effective and timely manner while maintaining Ford’s Security Policy. The group is responsible for the Americas, Europe, Middle East and Africa and the Asia Pacific Regions. The team consists of 15 members.
Extranet Delivery team manages the Extranet equipment in the network hubs, JV connectivity and Extranet firewalls globally.
Key activities include:
+ Refresh of existing and implementation of new Extranet solutions
+ 3rd level technical support to the Extranet Operations team
+ Consulting services for customers seeking assistance for Extranet solutions
+ Code upgrades
+ Partnering with technical peers to create robust network solutions
+ Recommend optimizations to the environment which improve delivery and performance
+ Design, installation, configuration and deployment of Extranet solutions
+ 3 rd level support / troubleshooting / outage management
+ Code upgrades
+ Peer review of change controls
+ Consultation work to assist customers in finding solutions to requests
+ Scripting/automation
+ Performing duties after hours, weekend and holiday support, as necessary
+ Providing technical training to Service Desk, Operations, and relevant parties
+ Successful Candidate will have:
+ Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, an associate degree, or a combination of education and relevant work experience.
+ 7+ years in Network Security/Firewall responsibilities
+ Palo Alto Networks:
+ Firewalls: 3400, 3800, 5200, 5400 series
+ Setup, configuration, troubleshooting, management, upgrades
+ Panorama
+ Prisma Access / Strata Cloud Manager
+ configuration, scripting, management, troubleshooting, policy creation/management
+ Cisco Systems:
+ Firewalls: Firepower 2100, 3100, 4100, 9300 series appliances; Meraki MX67, MX68 appliances; ASA and FTD deployments
+ Setup, configuration, troubleshooting, management, upgrades
+ Cisco Security Manager, Firepower Management Center, Meraki Administrative Console
+ Setup, configuration, troubleshooting, management, upgrades
+ Router/Switch: ISR1100, ASR100x, C8500, Nexus 9300, 9500
+ Setup, configuration, troubleshooting, management, upgrades
+ Automation/Scripting skills and experience
+ Ability to work independently with a diverse population, both in skill set, management level and geographic location.
+ Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills
+ Flexible and adaptable with Role/Tasks
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
