Schedule: Flexible day-shift options (4x10s, 6:45a.m.–5:15pm, alternating 4 days each week, or 5x8s, 06:45-a.m.–3:15 p.m.); occasional weekends as needed.Relocation Assistance: Up to $7,500 available.

As the Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM), you’ll provide both clinical and administrative leadership—supporting an engaged team through mentorship, scheduling, performance evaluations, and fostering a culture of excellence. In this role, you’ll coordinate with an interdisciplinary team of physicians, case management, and rehabilitation experts, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration that drive excellent patient outcomes.
This 10-bed, Joint Commission and CARF-certified unit cares for patients recovering from orthopedic, neurological, and post-acute conditions—such as strokes, spinal cord injuries, and trauma—typically following discharge from Presbyterian Medical Center. With an average length of stay of two weeks and a nurse-to-patient ratio of up to 1:5 (with one or two CNAs), our team delivers personalized, high-quality care every day.
What we’re looking for:
+ Minimum 1 year of inpatient rehab experience; acute care experience preferred
+ Charge nurse and/or preceptor experience
+ Strong leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills
+ A collaborative spirit and desire to shape the future of a growing, high-performing unit

What We're Looking For
+ Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. BSN preferred. Graduate Degree, preferred.
+ Experience:
+ Minimum of two years of clinical RN experience, preferred.
+ Prior demonstrated nursing leadership, preferred.
+ Licensure/Certification:
+ Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
+ NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required.
+ Unit/Dept Specific Required Certifications
+ Additional Skills (required): Successful completion of generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Ability to successfully complete Leader Education & Training.
