OVERVIEW
The Regional General Manager at Cadrex Manufacturing is responsible for driving performance and achieving results aligned with the organization’s strategic goals within their region. A keen focus on operations coupled with a competitive drive, innovative mindset, and the ability to stay focused on results while operating in a dynamic environment is the key to achieving the performance objectives of this job. The ideal candidate will have experience and demonstrated leadership in implementing practical, timely solutions, driving results while constantly problem-solving and engaging in the commitment of others. A leadership style that is firm, goal oriented, motivating, and engaging others in an enthusiastic way is important. Building rapport and relationships with team members inside the site as well as colleagues across the Division and corporate resources requires an outgoing, poised, and persuasive communication style. The pace of work is fast, requiring the ability to learn quickly and thoroughly while continually recognizing and adapting to changing conditions.
Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, the Regional General Manager at Cadrex will be a key member of the site management team which could include engineering, quality, production, accounting, and human resources.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Develop and execute the regional business strategy aligned with corporate goals for growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction
+ Partner with executive leadership to define long-term objectives and operational priorities for the region
+ Lead the development and implementation of strategic initiatives, including capacity expansion, efficiency improvements, and cost-reduction projects
+ Oversee daily operations of multiple manufacturing facilities, ensuring consistent execution of production, safety, quality, and delivery objectives
+ Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across plants to ensure operational excellence and compliance with company standards
+ Drive Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize performance and eliminate waste
+ Ensure all regional sites maintain compliance with regulatory, environmental, and safety standards
+ Develop and manage regional budgets, forecasts, and financial performance targets
+ Analyze financial results and operational data to identify opportunities for improvement and cost optimization
+ Ensure profitability through effective resource allocation, productivity improvement, and pricing alignment
+ Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Plant Managers and functional leaders, fostering leadership capability and succession readiness
+ Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and employee engagement
+ Partner with HR to attract, retain, and develop top talent across the region
+ Serve as the primary regional liaison for key customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and responsiveness
+ Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and Sales to meet customer and market requirements

Requirements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
+ Manufacturing: Experience in manufacturing, leading a non-union hourly workforce
+ Experience leading in both PE and/or family/privately held business cultures a plus
+ General management experience having multiple function direct reports (engineering, finance, production, quality etc.) is preferred
+ Knowledge and experience in precision machining and sheet metal fabrication preferred
+ 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing operations, including multi-site management
+ Proven success in managing P&L responsibility and achieving financial and operational objectives
+ Strong background in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other operational excellence methodologies
+ Deep understanding of supply chain, production, maintenance, and quality systems
+ Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
+ Ability to travel regularly within the region and occasionally to corporate headquarters
+ Experience managing in complex, fast-paced manufacturing environments (e.g., metal fabrication, electronics, automotive, or similar industries)
EDUCATION
+ Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field to manufacturing
LOCATION
+ Remote. Travel (<50%) is expected for this role
