Primary Purpose
The Manager, Subcontracting leads a team of Subcontracting Specialists responsible for managing orders fulfilled by third-party vendors. This role ensures a seamless order-to-cash process, delivering fast, accurate, and high-quality service to both customers and partners.
Essential Functions
• Serve as subject matter expert on the end-to-end subcontracting process.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the subcontracting order-to-cash experience.
• Lead the team in providing excellent service to customers and vendors.
• Coach and develop team members through ongoing feedback and training.
• Oversee order management from quote creation through billing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitor KPIs, evaluate performance trends, and implement improvement plans.
• Resolve escalations quickly while maintaining service-level standards.
• Drive subcontracted order profitability to meet margin targets (>25%) and contribute to EBITDA.
• Maintain performance metrics and reporting, identifying trends and improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate daily team schedules to ensure adequate coverage and productivity.
• Build strong cross-functional relationships across Customer Experience, National Accounts, and other departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Salary Range
$77,400.00 – $112,000.00 / year
Pay Transparency Statement
At United Site Services, our salary ranges reflect the minimum and maximum base pay for the posted position applicable to all locations across the US. Within the posted salary range, individual pay is determined by the geographic location, job related skills, experience, education, and certifications. Our total compensation package includes base pay plus a comprehensive benefits program.
