In this role you will be responsible for critical investment support functions of the Cleveland Clinic Investment Office in one or more of the following areas: a) portfolio risk management and investment performance reporting, b) investment analytics and data governance and c) investment operations and operational due diligence. This role provides practical, hands-on experience across essential areas of portfolio risk management and quantitative analysis, offering a strong foundation for professional growth and success in the investment management industry.
A caregiver in this position works days from 8:00 a.m. -- 5:00 p.m.
_This is a hybrid role and caregivers must reside in the Cleveland area to work three days on-site at the Beachwood CCAC location._
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
+ Generate portfolio risk metrics and performance reports using tools including but not limited to FactSet, Albourne, Aladdin, bank custodian systems, Bloomberg and eVestment.
+ Reconcile and ensure efficient data flows between various investment management information systems including FactSet, custodian systems, Dynamo, Private I, eVestment, Bloomberg and Aladdin.
+ Implement and maintain Aladdin risk system analytics, including data quality checks, reporting enhancements, and day-to-day system support for investment decision-making.
+ Assist in the production of monthly and quarterly risk reports, providing analysis of exposures, factor sensitivities, portfolio concentrations, stress tests and other portfolio risk metrics across multiple time horizons.
+ Execute investment transactions and participate in daily operational activities, including processing capital calls, cash and stock distributions, handling regulatory and compliance documentation requests, managing account openings and closures, coordinating subscription and redemption documents, and supporting liquidity modeling.
+ Perform daily cash reconciliations, update cash flow projections, execute collateral movements and manage process controls surrounding capital calls and distributions.
+ Implement the asset manager onboarding process to ensure new investments are accurately included in all internal systems.
+ Assist senior team members with performing Operational Due Diligence (ODD) on asset managers and contribute to quantitative due diligence, supporting evaluation of risk profiles and alignment with portfolio objectives.
+ Interact and resolve issues with strategic vendors including custody banks, ODD consultants and risk vendors.
+ Interact with Tax, Legal, Accounting, and Treasury colleagues to ensure all operational and investment-related issues are addressed efficiently.
+ Conduct ongoing portfolio monitoring, including asset allocation, risk/return characteristics and adherence to investment guidelines.
+ Support quantitative research for portfolio construction, scenario modeling, and manager oversight, including performance persistence, factor alignment and exposure overlap.
+ Conduct macro research to support portfolio asset allocation decisions, including analysis of market regimes, factor drivers and cross-asset relationships.
+ implement data visualization using Tableau dashboards that are supportable, accurate and relevant.
+ Monitor incoming email communications from investment managers, respond to requests and engage relevant investment team members responsible for the relationship.
+ Collaborate with investment, operations and analytics teams to deliver timely and accurate risk insights to stakeholders.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
+ Bachelor's degree in quantitative subjects such as Finance, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Quantitative Economics, etc.
+ Two years of highly analytical and quantitative experience in custodian bank, asset management firm, investment consultant, investment office, and financial institution
+ **OR** three years of public accounting experience auditing financial institutions
+ Strong interpersonal skills and can prioritize in a fast-paced environment
+ Proficient with Excel and managing large amounts of data
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
+ Master's degree
+ Pursuit of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)/Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA)/Financial Risk Manager (FRM) designation
+ Strong analytical and quantitative skills
+ Familiar with Python and SQL
+ Interest in Portfolio risk management and Investment research

Pay Range
Minimum Annual Salary: $69,600.00
Maximum Annual Salary: $106,132.50
The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set and education.
