About the Role:
As a CBRE Facilities Manager, you will manage a large team responsible for overseeing comprehensive building operations and maintenance for a 1.2 million square foot hospital facility in Youngstown, OH. You will manage all maintenance services for the entire hospital, ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment.
This job is a part of the Facilities Management functional area which focuses on all aspects of the operations of a set of assets, providing support to the Property Managers regarding all repairs and investment plans.
What You’ll Do:
+ Provide formal supervision to a team of 25 direct reports, including monitoring training and development, conducting performance evaluations and coaching, and overseeing recruiting and hiring processes.
+ Coordinate with and manage the Facilities Coordinator to ensure the timely and efficient completion of work orders.
+ Schedule and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
+ Coordinate and manage facility repairs and maintenance by working with technicians, vendors, and contractors.
+ Maintain positive client relationships and conduct meetings on unresolved facility issues.
+ Prepare and manage capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports, including the full cycle of construction projects.
+ Perform facility inspections quality assurance following local, state, and federal regulations. Suggest operational efficiencies, repairs, and upgrade opportunities.
+ Manage environmental health and safety procedures for facilities.
+ Oversee vendor relationships and invoicing procedures. Review price quotes for the procurement of parts, services, and labor for projects.
+ Conduct process and procedure training on maintenance, repairs, and safety best practices.
+ Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.
+ Apply knowledge of own discipline and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
+ Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.
What You’ll Need:
+ Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Valid driver's license required. Facility Management certification preferred.
+ Previous experience managing facilities in the healthcare industry (Experience is required).
+ Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
+ Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
+ Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
+ Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
+ Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

+ CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Facilities Manager position is $100,000 annually (or $48.08 per hour) and the maximum salary for the Facilities Manager position is $120,000 annually (or $57.69 per hour). The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
