About the Role:
As an Engineering Ops Mgr at CBRE Group in Miami, FL, you will lead our mechanical and engineering team in delivering world-class support. This role is crucial in ensuring flawless operations and outstanding service standards!
What You’ll Do:
+ Coordinate the formal supervision of employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and mentor. Lead all aspects of the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
+ Coordinate senior technical and operational direction for the development of policies and procedures. Coordinate the business unit’s financial performance.
+ Advocate for detailed planning and coordination of program implementation to meet environmental and life safety requirements.
+ Supervise the planning, budgeting, and control of operating and capital expenditures.
+ Assist with the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, management plans, monthly performance reports, and variance reports.
+ Perform regular inspections of properties. Recommend and direct alterations, maintenance, and reconditioning of properties, as necessary.
+ Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Persuade managers and other colleagues to take action while being guided by the organization's functional business plans. Negotiate with external partners, vendors, and customers of divergent interests to reach a common goal.
+ Identify and solve multi-dimensional, sophisticated, operational, and organizational problems by bringing to bear the appropriate resources within or outside the department.
+ Significantly enhances and transforms current methods, processes, and standards within the job field.
What You’ll Need:
+ Bachelor's Degree required with 8-12 years of proven experience.
+ Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
+ Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and balance problems.
