About The Role:
The Digital & Technology team at CBRE is a forward thinking and innovative function at the forefront of digital transformation & acceleration programs. VP, Global Cloud Services is an executive role responsible for organization’s cloud strategy, adoption and operations, being responsible for infrastructure, security and cost management to drive business value. The leader will align cloud strategy with business objectives, driving digital transformation, fostering innovation, and ensuring a robust, scalable, and secure cloud platform.
What You'll Do:
+ Define and own the cloud strategy, product vision, and overall direction for cloud-based products and services and promote a cloud-first culture
+ Develop strategy and implement to take Cloud organization from a platform/product organization to the highest maturity as a business enabler. Enable Maturity of Governance through modern cloud architectures and services
+ Lead, mentor, and develop high performing distributed team of cloud engineers and operations staff to handle and complete cloud initiatives and operations
+ Work with Security and Network teams to strengthen security, reliability, and scalability in designs. Implement and maintain robust security measures and ensure adherence to relevant compliance frameworks and policies
+ Design and built Cloud Platform/product services to enhance resilience and support AI native development
+ Conceptualization and execution of Innovative efforts in cloud and infra areas, evaluating new technologies and deeply integrated AI in all facets of cloud platform services and operations to realize significant cost efficiencies and business differentiation
+ Build and maintain relationships with cloud service providers and other technology providers
+ Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) to monitor and improve cloud platform performance and overall operations to ensure operational excellence
+ Work closely with IT, engineering, business units to identify and implement effective cloud-based solutions
What You'll Need:

+ Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is highly preferred.
+ Over 15 years of dynamic experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role handling cloud infrastructure and operations at global scale
+ Extensive familiarity and hands-on involvement with cloud technologies spanning AWS, Azure and GCP, cloud systems, safeguarding and connectivity
+ Capability to compose and implement long-term strategic plans for cloud services and possesses a track record of guiding engineering teams
+ Extensive knowledge of cloud architecture, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform), containers (K8s platforms), and DevOps principles
+ Prior proven experience in Commercial Real Estate (CRE) is highly valued
+ This position has formal supervisory responsibilities. The Vice President will lead and develop high-performing teams, encouraging collaboration and continuous improvement. Responsibilities include identifying training needs, supervising performance, mentor, and motivating the team.
+ Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles to handle budgets, conduct cost-benefit analyses, and supply to financial planning for technology investments.
+ Decisions made with in-depth understanding and interpretation of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and strategic objectives. Errors in judgment may cause long-term impact to business & strategy.
