    Job Description

     

    + Directs the overall work efforts of a project team.

    + Provides oversight to meet established function, quality, cost, and schedule goals and objectives for large sized programs/projects with extensive complexity for multi-year initiatives.

    + Manages programs/projects from initial concept through post implementation, including multiple implementation cycles.

    + Plans and controls multiple related projects with complex dependencies and shared resources and trains others in the use of planning tools.

    + Builds relationships with sponsoring executives and among different groups within and outside the department while serving as a liaison.

    + Addresses issues via direct one-on-one dialog with resources. Clarifies boundaries of acceptable risk and removes obstacles.

    + Authors project management artifacts and develops and maintains project plans.

    + Works with resource managers to obtain resources. Ensures project governance is established and observed. Recognizes, clarifies, and prioritizes project plan activities.

    + Authors effective, clear, concise, and relevant communication for program/project stakeholders.

    + Communicates difficult and/or complex ideas and presents the appropriate message to audiences up to and including Senior Vice Chair.

    + Determines knowledge and skills required for successful project outcomes.

    + Promotes collaborative relationships across project team members. Inspires commitment, high energy, and positive attitudes. Influences multiple constituencies.

    + Manages program/project team size of more than 50 team members.

    + May manage a staff of up to 5 employees.

    + Responsible for recommendations for hires, transfers, terminations, salary adjustments, performance standards, and reviews.

    Basic Qualifications

    -Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

     

    -At least 10 years experience with tools and techniques for planning, organizing, monitoring and controlling IT projects.

    Preferred Skills/Experience

    Extensive experience in :

    -System development life cycle

     

    -Document management

    Subject matter expert in :

    -Project control and reporting

     

    -IT project management

     

    -Project planning and organization

     

    -MS Project

     

    _Hybrid/flexible schedule_

     

    The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other day

    The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $148,495.00 - $174,700.00
