Opportunity Overview
Compute Platform Product Manager Compute Datacenter and Client Business Unit
We are seeking a dynamic Compute Platform Product Manager to shape our future product strategy across our collective business units. In this critical role, you will define and drive the test platform vision and roadmap, craft customer-centric messaging, manage the product lifecycle, and steer our market positioning with clarity, purpose, and confidence.
This role sits at the crossroads of innovation and market strategy. Your leadership will directly influence how our products integrate and excel across segments, positioning Teradyne as the go-to provider in semiconductor testing. By partnering with a diverse range of customers - from agile startups to established global leaders - you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact on both our product suite and the industry at large.
The UltraFLEXplus platform product manager will be responsible for the different aspects of the tester - such as networking infrastructure, mechanical & power requirements, test cell footprint, test head form factor, ESG initiatives, device interface technology, and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
+ Strategic Vision & Roadmap: Synthesize emerging market trends to define and execute the long-term vision for our flagship UltraFLEXplus tester
+ Value Proposition Development: Collaborate with Sales, Product Development, and the Marketing team to create a compelling value proposition, tailored to diverse markets including Datacenter Computing/AI, Mobility, and Automotive Digital with careful consideration for both Teradyne and our customers’ ESG initiatives
+ Product Management: Own the product definition, policy, structure, forecasting, pricing, and oversee end-of-life and transition planning
+ Ensure that there is a consistent and comprehensive go-to-market strategy and execution plan for all products released on the UltraFLEXplus platform
+ Track and synthesize market, installed-base, and forecast to support quarterly business reviews, investor relations, and the executive management team
+ Work with Segment Managers to ensure that the tester capacity model for key UltraFLEXplus customers is well maintained and in support of our business objectives
+ Marketing & Messaging: Develop dynamic and compelling messaging for customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders while ensuring consistency and clarity across all communications
+ Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely across Marketing, Product Development, Sales, and Operations to drive strategic transitions that maximize market share, enhance profit margins, and reduce excess and obsolete inventory
+ Actively own marketing efforts to establish and maintain sustainability thought and product leadership amongst the semi equipment industry
+ Develop and foster strategic relationships at customers and industry experts which lead to a competitive advantage for Teradyne

+ 15+ years of overall experience with at least 5+ years in product development, product management, or equivalent leadership experience creating and deploying advanced technical solutions (ATE preferred)
+ BS in engineering or equivalent experience. MBA or Masters in Engineering a plus.
+ Strong influence, leadership, analytical, synthesis skills
+ Ability to travel up to 20%
Compensation:
The base salary range for this role is $174,000-$278,500. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
