In this role, you’ll be the architect of our skills and careers strategy, giving employees the clarity, motivation, and tools they need to grow their capabilities and exceed expectations. You’ll work at the intersection of learning, workforce planning, and digital transformation to shape a culture of continuous development.
*Primary location can be Boston with regular travel to the Webster, MA location as necessary.
What You’ll Do
+ Drive upskilling and reskilling initiatives so employees acquire future ready skills needed for tomorrow’s challenges (e.g. GenAI, machine learning, data science).
+ Design and lead internal career infrastructure process and philosophy; manage portfolio of competency libraries, skills assessments and job profiles.
+ Collaborate with HR Business Partners on workforce planning and org design initiatives to ensure that employee skills and careers are always aligned with company strategy.
+ Conduct learning needs assessments and analyze workforce skill gaps against future requirements; design targeted development interventions.
+ Lead change management efforts to create a learning culture by influencing stakeholders to prioritize employee development.
+ Oversee our portfolio of digital learning and skill assessment platforms; measure performance, maximize ROI and monitor external marketplace and make recommendations for tools and technologies to add to our portfolio.
What You Bring
+ Experience creating and executing enterprise skill strategies.
+ Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and/or globally on transformation initiatives.
+ 6-8 years of experience in talent management, learning & development, or a related area.
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a specialized field.
**Pay Philosophy** : The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by several factors including skills, experience, education, certifications, and location. Some roles at MAPFRE are eligible for commission and/or bonus earnings, in addition to salary, calculated based upon factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
Salary Range $87,700 - $131,000
