Summary
The Business Operations & Program Manager drives complex, large-scale global customer programs, focusing on strategy development, change implementation, and operational excellence. This role serves as the primary interface to the customer for managing specific programs while also setting strategic direction for large accounts. The manager is responsible for leading cross-functional teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time and on schedule, and representing the company to external stakeholders on key strategic initiatives. This position combines strategic planning with tactical, day-to-day program management.
Detailed Description
Program & Strategic Management
+ Drives enterprise-scale strategic program management for highly complex, multi-year initiatives, including those valued at over $1B.
+ Contributes significantly to global strategy deployment, long-term planning, objective setting, and policy formation.
+ Leads the concept, development, and implementation of a Program Management Office (PMO) for customer business units.
+ Acts as a primary interface between the customer and the company for managing specific programs and delivering solutions.
+ Coordinates and hosts regular program tracking meetings with customers and internal teams.
+ Develops action plans to correct out-of-plan conditions and supports sales teams with content for customer communications and business reviews.
Operational Matters
+ Accountable for representing the company to external stakeholders on key strategic initiatives.
+ Leads and navigates cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
+ Responsible for all manufacturing-related activities, including defining supporting systems and new process planning.
+ Communicates frequently with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolves issues and complaints.
+ Acts as a customer advocate to drive project prioritization and problem resolution.
Required Skills & Experience
+ Significant experience with enterprise-scale program management, relationship management, and sales process management.
+ Strong financial and business acumen, with an understanding of contracts, financials, and quotations.
+ Deep understanding of data analytics and experience with business intelligence (BI) reporting tools.
+ Mandatory experience in driving and owning large customer programs from negotiation through execution.
+ At least 15 years of experience in strategy, program management, and operations with a proven track record.
+ Manufacturing management experience in multi-region environments.
+ Experience in a fast-paced, demanding, volatile business environment.
+ Strategic thinking combined with the capability to drive day-to-day tactical operational issues.
+ Experience with Power BI
+ Leadership of a Program Management Office (PMO).
+ Electronics manufacturing/Joint Development Manufacturing experience.
+ Experience working with hyperscaler/AI companies.
Physical Demands
+ Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
+ Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
+ Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.
+ Occasional travel may be required.
Typical Education
+ Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
Salary
The salary range described in this posting is an estimate by the Company, and may change based on several factors, including by not limited to a change in the duties covered by the job posting, or the credentials, experience or geographic jurisdiction of the successful candidate. Salary Range: $120-165k Annually
