As an Oil Terminal Manager II you will be responsible for managing all operations including scheduling used motor oil for processing at a facility. Why work for Safety-Kleen? + Health and Safety is our #1 priority and we live it 3-6-5! + Competitive wages + Comprehensive health benefits coverage after 30 days of full-time employment + RRSP with company matching component + Generous paid time off, company paid training and tuition reimbursement + Positive and safe work environments + Opportunities for growth and development for all the stages of your career + **Operational Management** + Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times. + Plan, organize, and oversee terminal operations to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient workflow. + Manage loading, unloading, storage, and dispatch activities. + Monitor operational performance metrics and implement process improvements. + Direct day-to-day operations, compliance and Over-The-Road dispatch + **People Management** + Supervise, train, and motivate terminal staff to achieve performance and safety targets. + Develop schedules and assign duties to ensure adequate coverage. + Conduct performance reviews and address employee relations issues. + **Financial Oversight** + Prepare and manage the terminal’s annual operating budget. + Control costs and optimize resource utilization. + Review and approve invoices, procurement, and capital expenditures. + **Customer & Stakeholder Relations** + Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, vendors, and contractors. + Ensure timely and accurate communication with clients regarding shipments, schedules, and terminal operations. + Resolve customer complaints or service issues promptly. + **Compliance & Safety** + Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies (e.g., OSHA, DOT, EPA, or local port authority standards). + Lead and promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility. + Conduct regular inspections, audits, and safety meetings. + **Maintenance & Asset Management** + Oversee maintenance and repair of terminal equipment and facilities. + Manage inventory and ensure availability of necessary materials and supplies. + Implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime. Qualifications & Experience: + High school diploma or equivalent required + 5–10 years of experience in terminal, warehouse, or logistics operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role. + Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. + Proficiency with terminal or logistics management systems and MS Office Suite. + Knowledge of safety, environmental, and transportation regulations.
