Reimbursement Supervisor
Full-time located in Butler, PA
Lutheran SeniorLife provides a comprehensive array of community based health and social service programs throughout western Pennsylvania.
Our services include LIFE (Living Independence for the Elderly); skilled nursing, home health; personal care; adoption & foster care; assisted living; adult day services; memory care; hospice; palliative care; residential living; affordable housing; home safety monitoring; Meals on Wheels; rehabilitation services and private duty.
The Reimbursement Supervisor is responsible to the Reimbursement Director of Lutheran SeniorLife for the day-to-day billing for Home Health and Hospice. This position supervises Associate Billers I and Cashiers. Suggests improvements in current procedures to promote efficiency and reduce duplication of steps and transactions in all census/billing areas. This position is largely self-supervised, requires initiative, discretion, good judgement and good communication skills.
Qualifications
Reimbursement Supervisor qualifications include:
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Relevant job experience with basic understanding of relationship between accounting records and census /billing/accounts receivable.
+ 3-5 years related experience.
+ Working knowledge of computers, Microsoft Word and Excel required (including Microsoft Office).
