Job Purpose: Dynamic Aviation is seeking a skilled Contracts Manager to support the full lifecycle of contract activities under the Director of Contracts. This role is responsible for assisting in the preparation, negotiation, execution, and maintenance of government and commercial contracts. The Contracts Manager will serve as a key liaison between internal departments and external customers, ensuring all contractual documents align with company objectives, legal requirements, and applicable regulations. In addition, this position may provide occasional support to the Trade Compliance Manager to ensure continuity of export/import compliance activities when needed. Key Responsibilities + Contribute to the administration, management, and negotiation of a broad range of government and commercial contracts. + Prepare, review, and maintain accurate and complete contract files in accordance with company policies. + Assist in proposal preparation and coordination efforts across departments including finance, business development, and operations. + Review incoming contracts including the statements of work (SOWs) and performance requirements to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations. + Support the preparation, review, and negotiation of NDAs, subcontracts, teaming agreements, and other contractual documents in line with company policies. + Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, ITAR/EAR, and other applicable federal regulations. + Coordinate and track contract modifications, extensions, and closeouts. + Track key contractual milestones, deliverables, reporting obligations, and contractual reps/certs. + Provide guidance on terms, conditions, and risk management to internal teams. + Support the implementation and consistent application of company processes and procedures + Maintain a positive, professional relationship with internal and external customers. + Other duties as assigned Qualifications and Job Requirements + Minimum BA or BS degree is required (preferably in business, law, or related field). + 5+ years of experience in contract administration, preferably involving both government and commercial contracts. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint. + Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. + Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail. + Ability to manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines. + Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team. + Capable of working effectively in a remote, in office, or hybrid environment + Infrequent travel as needed (to Bridgewater, VA or external trainings) Preferred Qualifications + Experience in the aviation or defense industry. + Working knowledge of export regulations (ITAR/EAR). + Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS and U.S. government procurement processes. + Previous experience working with US customs, import/export paperwork, and other government compliance agencies preferred.
