ATBS is seeking an experienced CPA to lead our Entity Services Team and play a vital role in our management team. This position requires a dynamic leader who has a superlative command of IRS rules and regulations surrounding the management of S-Corporations and other entity types. This position is primarily in-office in our Downtown Golden, CO office.

About Your Team:

+ Overseeing a team of 16-employees across two office locations

+ Collaborating with a 15-member leadership team to guide ATBS forward

About the Opportunity:

+ Lead the entity services team, setting high performance standards and aligning goals with company objectives

+ Coach, mentor, and instruct employees to achieve their maximum potential and motivate them to perform their duties with excellence thereby contributing to the success of ATBS

+ Actively participate and work as a team with other managers to support the growth and objectives of ATBS

+ Ensure that ATBS prepares generally accepted balance sheets and profit and loss statements to be delivered to clients in an accurate and timely manner. Ensure, using an auditing mindset, that underlying accounting transactions (from partner downloads, other electronic sources, or client documents) are complete and valid

+ Make certain, using analytical techniques, that ATBS prepares accurate tax returns in accordance with established practices as communicated by the Internal Revenue Service and other authoritative tax agencies and to timely prepare client tax returns

+ Provide accurate and timely payroll, entity formation, and quarterly estimated tax services to clients

+ Appropriately resolve client issues and questions that arise relating to their financial statements and tax returns in a manner that complies with regulatory rules/guidance and promotes client loyalty and longevity

+ Work collaboratively with other departments internally to ATBS to better the service we deliver to our entity clients

+ Work with the Controller to generate an annual financial plan for the department. Regularly prepare analyses and make recommendations with the objective to operate within the financial plan while delivering excellent customer service

About Your Expertise:

+ Bachelor's degree in or around tax, accounting or finance

+ Maintain an active Certified Public Accountant license

+ A minimum of 5 years' of experience in accounting
