A very reputable medical device client of ours is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented **R&D Engineer II** to join their product development team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the development and improvement of our client’s hepatic artery infusion pump system and accessories by updating engineering prints and design requirements. Looking for an engineer who can help out the team for a 9 month contract with possibility of extension.

**Location:** Maple Grove, MN
**Pay Rate:** 35-55hr, depends on experience
Key Responsibilities:
+ Support design and development activities in accordance with design control requirements.
+ Create and revise engineering drawings and prints to support product design and manufacturing.
+ Capture design requirements, prepare detailed design documentation, and write technical reports.
+ Assist in the creation and execution of test methods and other activities related to product verification and validation.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and regulatory to ensure project success.
+ Work independently under general work direction while maintaining a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and compliance.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering (or related field).
+ Minimum 2–3 years of experience in medical device product development.
+ Demonstrated experience with engineering prints/drawings and writing design requirements.
+ Familiarity with design controls, documentation practices, and regulated product development processes.
+ Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
