    Our client, a leader in the manufacturing and supply chain industry, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Supplier Quality Engineer - Senior to join their dynamic team. As a key member of the Quality Department supporting supplier management and product development, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of component quality and supplier performance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will enable you to thrive in this innovative organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Supplier Quality Engineer - Senior

    **Location:** Santa Clara, CA

     

    Pay Range: $53/hr

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Drive continuous improvement and corrective actions to enhance the quality of sourced components from external suppliers.

    + Provide technical support in supplier selection, development, and qualification processes.

    + Develop and maintain inspection procedures, acceptance criteria, and testing protocols for incoming materials.

    + Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, addressing manufacturing yield issues and field failures through effective corrective actions.

    + Collaborate with Design Engineering to review new component specifications and provide input on quality and reliability considerations.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related scientific field.

    + Minimum of 9 years of relevant experience in supplier quality or a similar role, with a solid understanding of quality systems and manufacturing processes.

    + Experience in assessing potential suppliers for technical, quality, and manufacturing capabilities.

    + Proficiency in generating inspection procedures, test protocols, and analyzing incoming material defects.

    + Strong communication skills and the ability to lead project teams and guide less experienced staff effectively.
